Certificates surrendered include Old Internal Improvement Scrip; State House Bonds; State Bank and Internal Improvement Bonds; Macalister and Stebbins Bonds. Entries for each surrendered certificate include old certificate issuance date and serial number; state official signing old certificate; principal and interest due amount; individual surrendering old certificate; New Internal Improvement Stock serial number issued for principal due; Interest Bond serial number issued for interest due; and individual for whom new certificates were issued.
